Christmas church service and Christmas gathering is scheduled for Saturday December 16th at the Latvian Church, 83 Main St., Ottawa. The Church Service will take place at 3 p.m. and the Christmas gathering will follow in the church basement at 4:30 p.m.
Santa Claus will be arriving from the North with gifts for children and looks forward to hearing poems and songs from children.
Children’s Christmas presents: please register with Ene Tikovt at enet@bell.net or 613-226-3680 by Thursday December 7.
For the potluck meal, the Ottawa Estonian Society will provide blood sausages, wieners and drinks. Please bring either a side dish or sweets for dessert

Christmas Church Service and Jõulupuu 2013
December 10, 2013The Estonian Christmas Church Service will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21th at the Latvian Peace Ev. Lutheran Church, at the corner of Main and Lees St., with Pastor Kalle Kadakas from Toronto officiating.
The service will be followed by our traditional Christmas family gathering. Everyone is asked to contribute to the evening’s potluck table. Volunteers for setting up and post party cleanup are much appreciated.
Children who wish to visit with Santa, need to be registered by Monday, December 16th. Please contact Ene Tikovt at tikovt@rogers.com
