Jõulupuu with Santa and Christmas Church service

Everyone is welcome to join us for our Christmas celebration.

Details are as follows

When: Saturday, December 15, 2018
Church Service starts at 3 PM, Rev. Kadakas from Toronto will be officiating.
Jõulupuu gathering follows in the basement at 4:30 PM with a traditional Christmas meal, a visit from Santa and a merry singalong.
Where: Peace Latvian Church,  83 Main St, Ottawa

Blood sausages, weiners, potato salad, sauerkraut and beverages are being provided. Everything else is potluck.
If you have children who would like to visit with Santa Claus, please email Ene Tikovt  at enet@bell.net

before Thursday December 6, giving the names and ages.

Enjoyable Jõulupuu 2017

Following the Estonian Church service, Jõulupuu was attended by over 50 people, including 11 children who were very excited to visit with and perform for Jõuluvana. A good time was had by all and no one went home hungry after a generous festive Estonian table.















Christmas Church Service & Jõulupuu

Christmas church service and Christmas gathering is scheduled for Saturday December 16th at the Latvian Church, 83 Main St., Ottawa. The Church Service will take place at 3 p.m. and the Christmas gathering will follow in the church basement at 4:30 p.m.
 
Santa Claus will be arriving from the North with gifts for children and looks forward to hearing poems and songs from children.
Children’s Christmas presents: please register with Ene Tikovt at enet@bell.net or 613-226-3680 by Thursday December 7.
 
For the potluck meal, the Ottawa Estonian Society will provide blood sausages, wieners and drinks. Please bring either a side dish or sweets for dessert

Christmas church service and Christmas gathering

Saturday December 17, 3:00 p.m.

Latvian Church, 83 Main St., Ottawa

The Christmas Church Service will take place at 3 p.m. and the Christmas gathering will follow in the church basement at 4:30 p.m.

Santa Claus will be arriving from the North and looks forward to children reciting poems and singing songs.

Children’s Christmas presents: please register with Ene Tikovt at enet@bell.net  613-226-3680 by Sunday December 11.

For the potluck meal, the Ottawa Estonian Society will be providing wieners and drinks. Please bring either a side dish (sauerkraut would be very welcome) or sweets for dessert

As in previous years, admission is free to the Christmas gathering.

for the Ottawa Estonian Christmas church service  followed by our traditional family Jõulupuu. Events being held at the Peace Latvian Ev Lutheran Church on Main St. as in previous years.

Estonian Church service and Jõulupuu December 19th, Saturday 2015

The Christmas Church Service will take place at 3 p.m. (church doors open about 2:30 p.m.) and the Christmas gathering will follow in the church basement at 5:00 p.m.

Santa Claus will be arriving from the North and looks forward to children reciting poems and singing songs.

For the potluck meal, the Ottawa Estonian Society will be providing sausages, wieners and drinks.  Please bring either a side dish (sauerkraut would be very welcome) or sweets for dessert

As in previous years, admission is free to the Christmas gathering, however donations will be accepted.
